The INFATI Project
Introduction
INFATI is the first Intelligent Speed Adaptation development project in Denmark. The project is carried out by Aalborg University in collaboration with two local companies. Aalborg University has previous experience with, and knowledge of, traffic information. 

The project is managed by the university's Transport Research Group with support from the Laboratory for Geoinformatics.

INFATI is funded by the EU's Objective 2 programme through North Jutland Development Fund.

Purpose 
INFATI's primary purpose is to develop and test Intelligent Speed Adaptation traffic information systems. Click here to read more.

Tests
About 24 vehicles in the Municipality of Aalborg will be equipped Intelligent Speed Adaptation. Click here to read more.

The INFATI system

With the aid of satellites, the technology in INFATI can determine the position of the car and inform the driver of the local speed limit. Click here to read more.
